The quote above is an ageist comment. The idea that learning can only take place when you are older. This makes sense if you think about it, because usually the older you are the more wisdom you have accrued. Of course, some people learn faster than others and some people never learn anything at all.

But, this is an argument against education in general. The idea of saying that learning is for old people is very sexist. Women are often stereotyped as being more studious than men are.
